Rajkot’s renowned “Rasarang Lok Mela,” orchestrated by the District Administration, has cast a captivating spell on the diverse populace of the town, including the people of Saurashtra. On this remarkable occasion, State Agriculture Minister and Rajkot District In-charge, Raghavjibhai Patel, graced the “Rasarang Lok Mela” with his presence and fondly recollected cherished childhood memories intertwined with this vibrant fair.

Minister Raghavjibhai Patel embarked on a tour through the fairgrounds and made a special stop at the Information and Broadcasting Department’s stall. Here, he eagerly absorbed knowledge about various state government initiatives aimed at uplifting the community. In a delightful moment, Minister Raghavjibhai captured a snapshot alongside the esteemed Shri Rajubhai Dhriva at the iconic Chandrayaan-3 selfie point, which served as the magnetic nucleus of the “Rasarang Lok Mela.”

Demonstrating his commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the region, Minister Patel ventured to the arms exhibition stall meticulously arranged by the Police Department. Here, he engaged in insightful discussions about cybersecurity, underscoring the importance of safeguarding the community.

The minister’s visit extended to the “Regional Saras Mela,” thoughtfully organized by the Village Development Agency. This endeavor celebrated the strides made by financially empowered women, showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit. Minister Raghavjibhai Patel lauded the admirable work undertaken by the Sakhi Mandal, recognizing their remarkable contributions.

Speaking through electronic media, the minister underscored the government’s unwavering support for farmers, particularly during the challenging period of delayed rains. In response to the crisis, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel has made a crucial decision to extend an additional two hours of electricity to farmers. This substantial boost ensures a total of 10 hours of uninterrupted power supply to farmers across the state, an essential lifeline for preserving the standing kharif crops. Furthermore, the state government has resolved to release water from all dams to support irrigation and safeguard the Kharif crops flourishing in the fields.

The event featured an illustrious gathering of officials, including Resident Additional Collector S. J. Khachar, Provincial Officer Mr. K. G.
