Every event is celebrated in the vibrant and unique way in Rajkot. Ganesh Chaturthi celebration is now at its peak and in full swing. While many individuals have installed Ganesha in their homes, some people have installed Ganesha in a large pandal. An interesting idol of Sukshma Ganapati has been made by a young man in Rajkot. On the pencil’s edge, this young man has carved the sculpture of Ganapati, which has grabbed the eyeballs of people.
Intent to protect the environment
“God is present in even the minutest of figures,” opines Abhijit while discussing about the motivation behind creating this tiny idol. It can be readily dissolved during the visarjan, just like a little idol. He further said that this creation won’t even hurt the environment. This sculpture was primarily made by him with the intention of protecting the environment.
God resides in all sizes!
“One do people spend thousands of rupees on large idols,” questions Abhijit. He further says, “Devotees shouldn’t be purchasing large idol and make poor financial decisions in this inflationary period.” Bappa resides even in a small figure and will bestow blessings upon us if only the emotions and affection are pure. His idol is displayed at his residence near Gandhigram Velnath Chowk.
The master has built this figure so that the visarjan of his deity happens without causing any environmental harm or trouble. A wonderful illustration of dedication to God even in the absence of humungous wealth, as well as a creative initiative by Abhijit has become talk of the town.
