ITM Vocational University Rawal, Ajwa, Vadodara, celebrated the RAKSHABANDHAN event, with a small change. Generally, this festival is celebrated with sisters tying a Rakhi to their brother and the brothers promise to protect them. But ITM marked the day by felicitating the actual protectors of our society the Police Force who day and night protect us without any recognition.
ITM Vocational University honored these real heroes by preparing a 15 feet cake in the shape of Rakhi. The cake was made by the International Hospitality and Tourism Management (Hotel Management) students.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Dy. Superintend Of Police, Mr.H.A.Patel who on this event said, ‘Such events and appreciation brings awareness about police duty and the well being of the society is done by good education”.
The Guest Of Honour V.C. of the ITM Vocational University Dr.Anil Bisen, added how the hospitality industry is nurturing the new generation, to be great professionals and exploring the plethora of opportunities ahead of them.
The Head of Department of International Hospitality and Tourism Management, Mr. Vivek Nigam on this occasion said, “In ITM Vocational University we encourage the students, for an innovative and practical approach to excel and this event is proof of that”.
