Ramdas Athawale wishes alliance with BJP for VMSS elections

If BJP does not form an alliance with us in the forthcoming VMSS elections, we will field 24 candidates of our party, as stated by Ramdas Athawale, the President of the Republican Party of India (A), and currently is Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment. He was in Vadodara today and inaugurated the RSP office next to the BJP office at Sayajiganj. A large number of activists were present on the occasion.

After the inauguration of the office, Ramdas Athawale said, “We have an alliance in the NDA government at the Center. Therefore, we want the BJP to form an alliance in the coming corporation elections in Gujarat as well. In Vadodara, we will demand 24 candidates for 6 out of 19 wards. If our demand is not accepted by the BJP, our candidates are ready to contest the elections. And if the BJP is ready, we will work for the candidates in their wards”.

He further said that his party is ready to contest the Municipal Corporation elections not only in Vadodara but in the whole of Gujarat. They have a number of issues ready to fight the election. He further added that a vaccination campaign against corona has been launched across India. This vaccine is not for the BJP Government but for the health of the entire country. Everyone should take advantage of the vaccine. No one will be forced to take the vaccine by the government. The vaccine made in India is a matter of pride for India. He is also going to get vaccinated.

He said OBCs should get jobs in government and semi-government departments for the benefits and jobs they deserve. Even in the private sector, OBCs should get reserved and that requires legislation.

Following the upcoming corporation elections, political turmoil has started in Vadodara. National-level leaders of various political parties have begun efforts to bring their party to the limelight.
