Readiness for the third wave: CM conducts comprehensive review video conference meeting

Shri Bhupendra Patel conducted a brief meeting with the authorities to check whether the teams of the district administration are making necessary arrangements for the third wave. Meanwhile, AYUSH plans to deliver daily 2000kg of immunity booster (ukalo) powder from 10th January 2022.

The Municipal Commissioners of Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhinagar and District Collectors of Kheda, Anand, Bharuch, Navsari, Valsad and Kutch, District Development Officers and District Health Officers provided all details of vaccination drive, tracing-tracking, isolation wards, oxygen bed and medicines in hospitals to the Chief Minister.

Reviewing the readiness of the district administrations, the Chief Minister said that the secretaries in charge of the districts have been instructed to reach out to the districts so that the district administrations can get the necessary guidance. Not only that, the government has intensively planned to deliver all the necessary help to the districts.

Bhupendra Patel has requested the district and urban authorities to continuously monitor the persons living in home isolation and also those admitted to the hospital. Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister K. Kailashnathan, Chief Secretary Panjak Kumar, Acting Principal Secretary of Health Department Mukesh Kumar, Senior Secretaries attended the meeting from Gandhinagar.
