VMSS has drafted ‘Parking Policy’ to take care of parking and traffic woes.
In coming days if your vehicle is parked more than a certain time, there will be a charge for it. Free parking time will be decided on the basis of the traffic congestion time.
Digital parking meters will also be installed for easy display of space availability. A separate Traffic Cell will be formed with VMC, headed by Director of the Rank of Executive Engineer. Traffic Enforcement Officers shall be appointed who will have rights to impound wrongly parked vehicles and take other steps.
