Real estate developer gets bail after being held for cheating

Mukund Patel, the real estate developer was arrested on Monday for cheating an aluminium contractor of Rs 18 lakh. He was released on bail by a local court on Tuesday.
Patel was produced before the court of the chief judicial magistrate by the detection of crime branch (DCB) but did not seek custody as the case was at its primary stage. He was granted with bail after claiming that he was innocent and had been wrongly pushed in the case. He also added that he had already paid a cheque of the remaining amount to the complainant Hanuman Suthar in the premises of court.
The court granted him bail for Rs 25000 and conditioned him that he’d have to be present during court trials. He was ordered to present at DCB police station on every first and third Sunday until police file charge sheet.
Patel was arrested when Suthar approached the cops to lodge the complaint that he had not paid Rs 18 lakh for the that Suthar had done at Monalisa Complex in Manjalpur area.
After the project completion, Suthar was kept pending with the whole amount as he had paid him just Rs 6.7 lakh.
