The 74th Independence Day celebration will be organized on Saturday i.e August 15th at the Western Railway Police Parade. Yogeshbhai Patel, the Minister of State for Narmada Development will be hoisting the flag at the ground. Corona Warriors have been invited and will be honored by him on this occasion. The celebration will conclude with planting saplings.
For the celebrations, parade and other programs have been lined up. The programs have been planned in view of the Coronavirus guidelines. Today, a full-dress rehearsal was held at the ground under the guidance of District Development Officer, Kiran Zaveri in the rainy weather.
The Road and Building Department put up a waterproof Shamiyana at the place as rains might disrupt the celebrations. Top officials including – Additional Collector; Dilip Patel, District Police Chief, Deputy Commissioner of Police were present today at the rehearsals.
