Potholes are a big nuisance to the people living nearby the place that they are dug.
This is what happened to residents in Anandnagar society in Karelibaug who were protesting against the potholes dug in their society to repair the water line in a unique way: they have put up signboards that say ‘smart city’ and ‘વિકાસ ગાંડો થયો’ in the society to show the authorities the nuisance the potholes are causing.
The work to repair the water line hasn’t proceeded in 10 days and the residents are having problems going about their daily lives. A senior citizen slipped and was injured because of these ditches.
