Residents of Yakutpura reach Municipal commissioner’s office with bottles of polluted water

Residents living in Yakutpura, Vadodara approached the municipal commissioner with bottles filled with polluted water as a sign of protest.

Yakutpura’s residents have been getting municipal water supply that has been mixed with drainage water since the last few months. Social activist Shaukat Indori and a few of Yakutpura’s residents came to represent the matter to the municipal commissioner in order to petition him for cleaner water.

They approached the commissioner with bottles filled with polluted water and requested him for a quick solution. They also complained about people falling ill due to the polluted water and threatened to intensify the agitation if no action was taken.
