Rickshaw driver also joins in, in sevice of humanity

An auto-rickshaw driver joins the service to humanity by helping the corona patients and their families. He takes 50 patients on average every day.

There are associations, organizations, industrial units, firms, NGOs who are contributing by providing some or the other kind of service either for the COVID patients or their relatives. Individuals too have joined the fight in helping as much as they can and one amongst them is Farid Hussainbhai Sheikh.

He extended his help to the corona patients by driving them to the hospital and back home after discharge in his autorickshaw. He is providing free transportation to the patients and their family members.

He lives in the Tandalja area of Vadodara and earns his bread by driving an auto-rickshaw for years and supports his family- wife and 2 children. Despite the sky-rocketing price of CNG, he continues to serve the patients saying -” Corona will not last forever and people are mentally and economically disturbed. The biggest service is human service and religion comes later”.

He said that he is mentally satisfied by helping the people to the best of his capacity.
