Robbery attempt in the Kalali area of the city

A complaint was lodged at the Manjalpur police station regarding an attempt of robbery. Parth Charpat and his family are the residents of the Sahajanand Duplex in Kalali area of the city. He is a solar engineer in a private company. Last night when everyone in his family was asleep, late at night Parth woke up to noise from the front room. He was shocked to see two young men looking into the room.

As soon as he saw them, he challenged the two men by throwing something on them. In response, one of the robbers started hitting Parth on the head. Parth shouted for help. By the time the neighbours and other society members reached, the robbers had fled the spot. He was taken to a private hospital where he received six stitches on his head. Manjalpur Police rushed to the spot after the incident and are investigating.

Although it was a failed attempt of robbery, the incident has led to a panic in the neighbourhood.
