Robbery in daylight at Harni Road

A woman was riding a vehicle with her daughter-in-law near Mira Char Rasta on Harni road when two youths on a bike snatched a chain from the neck of the woman who was driving. However, the accused could only manage to snatch half of the chain.

As per available details, Ramaben Bhagwati Bhai Patel was going home sitting behind her daughter-in-law’s two-wheeler. Meanwhile, two youths on a bike rushed towards them and before snatched a chain from her neck and fled. Ramaben shouted for help and before the people arrived the accused fled towards the Shanidev temple.

Ramaben said the chain was of two and a half tolas and the accused snatched half of it. One of the accused was wearing a black t-shirt and had covered his face with a handkerchief.

As soon as the incident was reported to the police they rushed to the spot and started an investigation to catch the robbers after getting CCTV footage from the road.
