It’s a tough time to be a health worker during these times in the country.
But amid this crisis, Vadodara’s new innovation might prove to be of great help and relief to these health-care professionals.
The Divisional Railway Hospital of Pratapnagar, Vadodara has tested its new innovative device to serve the COVID-19 patients who have been kept in isolation. This new device is called the ROBOCART, which will provide adequate management of social distancing and reduce both the burden on health-care professionals as well as the risk of exposure to this deadly virus.
ROBOCART was designed within an 8-hour span and is expected to be cost-effective.
This innovation’s step was initiated and approved by Dr. (Lt. Col.) Brhamprakash (Chief Medical Superintendent, Vadodara), Dr. K Kumar (Additional Chief Medical Superintendent), and Mr. Jonils Macwan (Senior Nursing Superintendent).
Mr. Mithilesh Patel, Vraj Innovator, Vadodara supported the idea by designing the device.
Supplying food and providing medicines to coronavirus positive patients in hospitals has remained a challenge. This is why humans are taking the help of machines as they can be decontaminated with disinfectants for quick reuse.
A demonstration involving the ROBOCART was done in the ward.
