Rumours of Cong councilor, Chirag Zaveri joining BJP

BJP leaders and supporters of Ward no 18 in Vadodara protested over rumors of entry of Congress councilor of the area Chirag Zaveri into the party. They reached the party office to oppose the decision

After the RSP leaders’ entry into the BJP, the party councilors and supporters of ward no. 18 raised aggressive protest over rumors of entry of Congress councilor Chirag Zaveri into the party.

It is worth mentioning that on Friday R.S.P. State President and Ward 9 Councilor Rajesh Ayre joined the BJP along with his fellow councilors and about 100 supporters. BJP supporters in the ward were outraged late at night when RSP councilors and workers joined and caused a great uproar.

Meanwhile, on Saturday BJP councilors from Ward No. 18 Kalpesh Patel, Gargiben Dave, and Shakuntalaben Shide along with supporters reached the BJP office and made representation with city BJP President against including Congress councilor Chirag Zaveri in the BJP.

After the representation, BJP President Dr. Vijay Shah assured the BJP councilors and workers that from now on, people of any political party would not be taken into the BJP. After the assurance, the matter comes to an end.
