81 teaching assistants were appointed in the higher secondary schools of Vadodara. Out of which, 20 teaching assistants were given appointment letters by Collector Mrs. Shalini Agarwal and the remaining appointment letters of remaining 61 candidates were given at the document verification center of Shri Krishna Hindi Vidyalaya, Karelibaug.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, while addressing the online meet from Gandhinagar and welcoming 2,938 newly appointed teachers in the state, said, “Student-teacher a very high place in Indian culture.” He added that teachers have an important role to play in shaping the character of students and nation-building.
Addressing the newly appointed teachers at the Legislative Assembly Hall, Collector Mrs. Shalini Agarwal said that education is paramount for the development of society and the country. She said, “Teachers have a big responsibility to prepare the next generation for the forthcoming challenges.” She also hoped that every teaching assistant would perform their duty very well.
District Development Officer Shri Kiran Zaveri urged the education assistants to inculcate values of punctuality and quality teaching. Shri Narayan Madhu, Joint Commissioner of the Department of Higher Education addressed the proceedings. Alongside Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Education Secretary Vinod Rao, and Resident Additional Collector D.R Patel, District Primary Education Officer Archana Chaudhary was also present at the event.
