Samanvay is a musical concert performed by the trained percussionists of Akshar Tabla Academy every year in December for the past 12 years. It showcases mesmerising symphonies focusing on tabla along with western instruments from all corners of the world. Conceptualised in 2006 by Guruji Shri Rakesh Nai, the founder of Akshar Tabla Academy, Samanvay not only aims to preserve and promote the extincting art of classical music, but also tries to fuse the roots of indian classical with the western music culture!
Founded in 1996 by Guruji Shri Rakesh Nai, Akshar Tabla Academy strives not only to motivate the students to learn tabla, but chisels them to be able to perform on stage professionally.
Having performed twice on National TV, ATA’s students had impressed the judges of the show India’s Got Talent in 2009 and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega in 2010.
Akshar Tabla Academy cordially invites you to the 13th Samanvay Presentation in remembrance of late Pandit Sudhirkumar Saxena on Saturday, December 22, 5.30pm onwards at CC Mehta Auditorium, MSU, Vadodara. We would love for you to join us in this high-octane evening, with tabla artists both young and old playing classical and fusion music. The concert culminates with a mesmerizing performance by Pandit Pushkar Raj Shridhar who will be accompanied by his sons Naresh Raj Shridhar and Hitesh Raj Shridar.
Free admission; however, passes required for entry. Contact 9429113178 for passes!
