SaMvitti Foundation is now in the India Book of Records for Maximum Literary Posts by an NGO

A Vadodara-based NGO SaMvitti Foundation has marked its name in the India Book of Records with a unique and innovative project that has set the record of ‘Maximum Literary Posts by an NGO’. Under this project, knowledge-oriented quotes, verses, poems, and prose passages from the world, Indian and Gujarati literary heritage were creatively conceived in the form of postcards.

The foundation published postcards on their social media handles in Hindi, Gujarati, and English. A total of 700 postcards were shared during the period from January 2018 to September 2021. These inspirational postcards were initiated with the intention of getting the readers acquainted with the rich tradition of literature, the ideas of various creators and thinkers.

“The artistic joy and experience gained from reading creative literature can make a significant contribution to personality development. At a time when social media has evolved into an influential medium today, SaMvitti undertook this project with the noble academic intention of promoting and disseminating positivity, commitment, and knowledge in the society through this medium,” said Dr. Darshini Dadawala Founder & Managing Trustee, SaMvitti Foundation.

The SaMvitti Foundation was established on January 5, 2017, with the aim of empowering women emotionally and intellectually through literature. As the foundation celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2022, the achievement of this record remains an important milestone for its successful future.
