Savli MLA addresses concern of his taluka farmers to the State Chief Minister, through a letter

Savli MLA wrote a letter to the Chief Minister regarding the problems of the farmers of the Taluka

Ketan Inamdar, a member of the Savli Legislative Assembly, wrote to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel about the taluka farmers’ difficulties. The MLA addressed his dissatisfaction to the Chief Minister after farmers in Savli taluka complained about their denied access to water from the Narmada canal due to power outages and irrigation water maintenance.

The farmers of Savli taluka of 135 assembly constituency had submitted a letter to the local MLA Ketan Inamdar regarding the difficulties of a power cut and not getting water from the canals for irrigation.

“Farmers are unable to access water for irrigation on schedule due to power outages. Due to tripping the electricity, supply time was cut down from eight hours to between three to seven hours. I will request the supply to begin at seven in the morning” Inamdar expressed his thoughts on the subject.

He also mentioned that the Narmada canal’s water did not reach farmers. “Water is not available due to vacancies at the Narmada canal project offices. Second, restoring the canal before the start of the season causes a delay in delivering water to the farmers. As a result, I suggest that these issues get addressed as soon as possible, to assist farmers in receiving water throughout the growing season, “Inamdar contributed to the conversation.
