Sayaji Hospital appoints 32 specialist doctors

Following the provisions of the State Department of Health and Family welfare, 32 specialist doctors have been appointed in Sayaji Hospital on a contract basis after seeking permission from District Collector Shalini Agarwal. The doctors have been appointed on a fixed salary basis for strengthening the COVID treatment services at the Sayaji Hospital on an 11-month contract. They will work as class one specialist doctors and their services will be taken under the National Health Mission.

District Collector has expressed the expectation that this contract based recruitment will increase the capacity and well-being of the health service.

These doctors have completed their post-graduate education from Baroda Medical College and have worked in Sayaji Hospital before.

These specialist doctors are to provide health services as resident doctors which include doctors from medical specialties like Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, TB and Chest, Pathology, Surgery, Pediatrics, and Ophthalmology.
