After spending 9 months at home and studying online schools have finally re-opened today.

Schools in Vadodara is finally buzzing again from Monday. With strict safety precautions, the administration welcomed the students inside the premises following the government guidelines. The students seemed to be happy after visiting their schools after a long time.

As the corona cases have reduced in India, the states are now slowly moving towards normalcy and as a part of it, they are re-opening the schools with safety. In Gujarat, the schools re-opened on Monday with minimal occupancy.

Students reached their schools wearing masks and maintained social distancing as per the covid 19 guidelines. The administration also took strict safety measures like hand sanitizers, compulsory masks, social distancing inside the class, and others as decided by the government.

Students entered the school after being sanitized by the staff of Ongc Baroda High School. Students were seated with social distance in the classroom, 47 students came to school on the first day. The teachers of the school as well as Narmada Minister Yogesh Patel welcomed the school principal students.

Very few students came to school but the administration is hopeful that more parents will give their consent and send children in the coming days.

Students said although there is a fear of the virus, studies are a priority and hence they came to school to clear their doubts with teachers face-to-face which they missed during online classes.
