Security tightened in Vadodara

From the morning of 31st December, Vadodara City Police have tightened up security to check any untoward activities during the day. Teams deployed at various points since morning engaged in intensive checking especially prohibition and violation of notification in place.

Vadodara Police are taking full measures for the safety of the citizens and had tightened the security ahead of 31st December. Since morning on the last day of 2020, intensive checking has started at every point. The teams are stationed at every entry, exit points, and identified spots checking every passing vehicle carefully. After 6 pm checkposts will be placed at every point to check activities.

After 9 pm intensive checking of unnecessary vehicle movement will be done by the teams. People caught after 9 pm will be booked for two offenses which include notification violation.

All-day CCTV monitoring will be done by the teams from the control room, especially at identified points. Teams of crime branch, SOG, PCB will check farmhouses and places where new year parties are going to be held.

Vadodara Police also requested people to strictly follow the Covid 19 guidelines for their safety and help them in maintaining law and order in the city. They appealed to the citizens to stay at home and welcome the new year with safety.
