Today was the last day for filing nomination papers for 34 seats of Vadodara District Panchayat as well as Taluka and Nagarpalika seats. The contenders, who were annoyed at not being able to get tickets at the place of filing nominations, expressed their anger against the party. In which Jogeshwari Maharaul, a resident of Angadh village and a young Congress worker, was angry with the party. She cried and drew the attention of the workers which became a topic of discussion in political circles.
Congress leader Jogeshwari Maharaul did not get a ticket from the Angadh and Ranoli seats of the Vadodara District Panchayat cried and showed her ire against the party top brass. She said that the party has done injustice to her 20 years of work. But, she will remain loyal to the party and work for the Congress candidates.
Jogeshwari Maharaul further said that she is a resident of Angadh village and demanded a ticket for the Angadh and Ranoli seats of the district panchayat. But she has been treated unfairly by Congress for not giving her the ticket and for which she is grieving.
She said that she has been working in the party for the last 20 years as an activist and has not been given a ticket from Congress even though being an active member and educated. Although the party has not given her a ticket she will not betray the party and remain loyal to the party.
