Vadodara Police on Monday caught hold of Bhavesh Mukeshbhai Thakkar, who was operating a sex racket with the wanted Neetaben, aka, Neetu Udesingh Gohil at a rented bungalow of O.P. Road’s Pramukh Swami Nagar.
The J.P. Road Police Station was tipped off about the illegal activities carried out by Bhavesh Thakkar, a resident of Gorwa, after which police sent a dummy customer to expose the racket at the property rented by Neetaben in March 2019. The police later raided the duplex property to find two Nepali women along with Bhavesh Thakkar. On investigating the property, a rent agreement was also found that was in the name of Neetaben Gohil.
On interrogating Bhavesh Thakkar, he informed the police that he and Neetaben were both involved in these activities. He stated that the women were called in from Nepal and stayed in the rented house. Likewise, Bhavesh confessed that the customers contacted them on call and were charged Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3000 per customer.
The police have registered the case and have booked Neeta, aka, Neetu Gohil, declared wanted, and Bhavesh Thakkar, under section 3,4,5,6 of The Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act.
