District Collector launches the SDG Brigade India website in Vadodara in the presence of the District Development Officer.
As a part of the celebration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) week, Vadodara District Collector Shalini Agarwal launched the SDG brigade website in the presence of District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri. The SDGs 2030 set by the United Nations, which are to be achieved by every country by 2030 are the Human Development Index and measure the progress and development of the country.
SDG Week is currently being celebrated by the United Nations under which various activities have been organized by SDG Brigade India till 27/09/2020. These include various activities like SDG Quiz, SDG MUN, SDG Poster, SDG Webinar, and others.
Based on this, as per the guidelines of Niti Ayog of the Government of India, the youth of Vadodara have formed SDG Brigade India to achieve 100% of SDG.
As part of the celebrations, the SDG Brigade India website (sdgbindia.org) was launched at the Collectorate by District Collector Shalini Agarwal and District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri.
This website will host all the information related to SDG as well as various creative activities. This is a unique effort to train youth to participate in collective development. District Ayurveda Officer Dr. Sudhir Joshi who is encouraging and coordinating this whole project has appealed to the youth of the entire country to join this movement for self-development and nation development as well as from Better India to Best India.
Bhautik Wamza, Devyani Parikh, Kuti Tataria, Manthan Jaiswal as well as website designers Jatin Patel, Arpan Patel, and Lucky Vishwakarma and all the youth have done admirable work in this entire project. The Collector and DDO have expressed hope that the continuous development of the country will be accelerated by inspiring and encouraging the youth of Vadodara through this project.
