Two days back, a sample of Manjuben Chunar, aged 45 years was collected from Gajarawadi area by VMC health department as she was showing symptoms of COVID19. After collecting the sample, she was asked not to leave the house until her result arrived. It takes approximately two days for the results to come in.
Today, health department officials went to her place to inform about the positive results of the test, however, she was not found at her home, so with the help of the Police department, they started searching for her.
She was found selling fruits at Amrutnagar Society in Makarpura which is 5.5 Km away from her house.
Health Department disposed all the fruits and vegetables from her cart and shifted her to an isolation ward at Gotri Hospital. VMC sanitized the whole society and asked the society members who bought fruits from her, to go for test as earliest as possible.
Yesterday 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported in Vadodara taking total to 193 and 2 fatalities taking total to 9 total deaths.
