Shravan month is about to begin and officials gear up for rush

One of the key point to curb the spread of Coronavirus is to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing. But ever since the Unlock 2, cases have increased rapidly. The administration will be taking proactive and preventive steps to reduce the cases in the coming days.

OSD Dr Vinod Rao informed that in view of the Shravan month, the Commissioner of Police has been requested to take all necessary actions and to strictly implement the Guidelines of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India dated June 29 for Unlock 2 from July 1 in all temples of Vadodara City.

The same request was conveyed to the Collector and District Magistrate of Vadodara for strict implementation of the guidelines in rural areas of the district. He suggested that there should not be any crowding of people nor permission for any activities in the temples as it could be in violation of the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
