Shri A. B. Gor promoted to Collector of Vadodara district from Chief Executive Officer of AUDA

Shri A. B. Gor promoted to Collector of Vadodara district from Chief Executive Officer of AUDA. Also, order to transfer 9 IAS officers of the state with promotions was issued.

While IAS D.P. Desai has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA). Other IAS officers who have received promotions include Dr. Ajay Kumar, a 2006 batch IAS who was on deputation to the post of Private Secretary to the Minister of Education in the Department of Education, Government of India, will continue his service with promotion. Similarly, IAS Jenu Devan of the same batch of 2006 has been promoted as Superintendent of SPAM and Inspector General of Registration Gandhinagar with promotion. He has also been given additional charge of Labor and Employment Commissioner Gandhinagar till further orders.

IAS Alok Kumar Pandey with promotion to Managing Director Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. Has been changed to Gandhinagar. While IAS Ravi Kumar Arora, who is on deputation to the Centre’s Director of Estates, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi, has been given promotions in his place. RB Barad who was Collector of Vadodara has been given promotion and transferred to Forest and Environment Department.

Dr. M.D. Modiya, who is serving as Officer on Special Duty in CMO, has been given a promotion in his place. Shri DG Patel has been promoted as Commissioner of Co-operation and Registrar of Co-operative Societies Gandhinagar.
