Vadodara Police started a strict checking drive in view of the upcoming Diwali festival where people do bumper shopping of jewelry and other items. The aim is to keep a watch on jewelry showrooms, Angadias, and finance offices where a big amount of cash transactions will be done as part of the festive season.
In view of such sensitive situations, the Vadodara police started a strict checking drive to stop such crimes during the festive season. The team checked Autorickshaws in a Special drive at various spots.
A total of six teams of crime branch conducted checking at Akota bridge, Pandya bridge, Gotri Yash complex, Railway station, Bus Depot, Vishwamitri Railway Station, Susen circle, Narhari circle, Kapurai crossing. The team checked 91 auto-rickshaws about their registration numbers, license, and about carrying some illegal items. This strict checking will continue in the upcoming days.
