A special talk held between parents and psychologist Dr VS Ravindran

An event of special conversation was organised by Tejas Vidyalaya Parents & Teachers Association and Alembic Group of Schools. In which, the famous educationist, psychologist and a well-known trainer of India Dr VS Ravindran had addressed the parents of students from class 8th to 12th. He is also associated with renowned organisations like UGC and NCERT.

Ravindran gave a special speech on the questions of the children entering adulthood and the behaviour of parents with them. He strengthened his points on the importance of not comparing the siblings with each other. He insisted on them to have a friendly relationship with kids which will enable to open up with parents and will boost their self-confidence.

On the other hand, he also said that they must not always be ready to meet their child’s needs. Children must learn that it is not possible for parents to fulfil all of their demands on the one go or with ease. Ravindran insisted them give unconditional love to children, talk with them, spend time with them, and also teach how to maintain relationships.

Parents must ask their child about what to expect from the seventh grade, and even if it changes their mind, they should try to move them towards the goal. Because whether it is a doctor or an engineer, it is also more necessary to strengthen its subject.
