According to Ramesh Patel, Assistant Traffic Superintendent, Vadodara ST Department, another 45 buses are scheduled to run. Panchmahal District ST Department would organize pilgrimages to Ambaji and Pavagadh. On regular days, 60 to 65 passengers travel. However, during the Diwali festivals, 90 thousand to one lakh people travel.
Additional ST buses have been scheduled this year additionally in the view of Diwali, according to Assistant Traffic Superintendent Dharmendrabhai Khat. Eight buses have been ordered from the Vadodara ST division’s Padra, Karjan, Dabhoi, Chhotaudepur, Bodeli, and Waghodia ST depots.

Every year, the ST department planned to run extra buses on various routes throughout the state. According to ST Corporation official sources, the ST Corporation will run around 1500 more buses across the state, including Vadodara, from March 29 to April 10. To handle the surge of passengers during Diwali, the Vadodara ST Department has made a firm commitment to maintaining a 24-hour ST service.
