Two months after the famous coffee chain, Tata Starbucks, entered Gujarat market by opening 5 new stores in Ahmedabad and Surat, the much awaited Seattle-based brand is set to open soon in Vadodara.
Tata Starbucks in Vadodara is believed to open by the end of 2019 as the deadline for the completion of interiors is 15th Dec’19. However, the public does not seem to be quite excited about its location.
The chain is set to open its only store at the Centre Square Mall near Genda Circle. The mall had been receiving less footfalls over the last few months, however with the popular coffee chain opening at the mall, there are chances of increase in footfalls. Furthermore, the seating space for the only Starbucks store in the city may not be as huge as compared to the stores in Surat and Ahmedabad.
In India, Starbucks has more than 150 stores which is fewer than most of the 27 countries where it operates, more so, making it the fastest growing coffee chains in the country.
