Every month, Surat Police takes the lead in organizing a mega blood camp, and this time, Rander, Adajan, and Pal Police, in collaboration with private schools, came together to conduct a blood donation camp with a noble cause – to support children battling thalassemia. The target of collecting over 2000 units of blood bottles in this monthly blood donation camp was set to aid these young warriors in their fight against the genetic disorder.

Surat Police has earned a reputation as a champion of humanitarian work, engaging in various socially useful programs to serve the community. Staying true to their ethos, a joint effort by Rander, Adajan, and Pal police brought forth a heartening blood camp in the Adajan area. The primary focus was to organize a blood donation drive specifically aimed at supporting children affected by thalassemia, and this time, a private school lent its cooperation to make the initiative a success.

The continuity of these blood donation camps every month for thalassemia-affected children reflects the steadfast commitment of Surat Police towards making a positive impact on society. The objective of collecting more than 2000 units of blood during each camp showcases the scale and significance of their efforts in alleviating the challenges faced by thalassemia patients and their families.

During this recent blood donation drive, prominent personalities such as Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghvi, Surat Police Commissioner, Ajay Tomar, and several dedicated police officers joined a multitude of generous blood donors. The overwhelming response from citizens and police personnel alike exemplifies the spirit of unity and compassion that fuels such initiatives.

Surat Police’s commitment to organizing blood donation camps in different areas every month is a testament to their unwavering dedication to the welfare of thalassemia-affected children. By actively encouraging citizens and police personnel to donate blood, the police department sets a commendable example of humanity in action.

Each blood donation, though seemingly small, holds the power to save lives and instill hope in the hearts of thalassemia patients. The gesture of donating blood resonates with the essence of humanity, reflecting the collective strength of a community that stands united to support those in need.

The collaborative efforts of Surat Police and private institutions exemplify the essence of community engagement and the power of collective action. Through these blood donation camps, Surat Police reinforces the principle that compassion knows no boundaries, and together, they strive to create a brighter and healthier future for the thalassemia-affected children in city.
