Tandalja’s talati transferred after controversial property deal at Vasna Road

Post the controversial property deal between the industrial family of Goradias and the Fazlanis, the talati who was involved in the deal has been transferred.

Amit Desai, the talati in the disputed property deal was reassigned by the Vadodara district administration to the Vadodara district panchayat. The administration has urged the panchayat to take action against him for allegedly forging documents on the basis of which the deal was moved forward.

The deal struck between the two industrialist families was opposed by the residents who protested that the property at Kesarbaug Society in Vasna Road was sold in contravention of the Disturbed Areas Act. The deal was stayed by the SSRD as the property falls under Disturbed Areas Act.
