Tarsali Vegetable Market Association submits a request to the VMC  for new market facilities

Following a meeting with all of the traders at Tarsali Vegetable Market, the Tarsali Vegetable Market Association submits an application to the Vadodara Municipal Commissioner requesting that a new market be built. They demand amenities similar to those seen in other markets, and everything to get documented or they will take critical steps.

Tarsali Vegetable Market traders claim that while space has been granted, the administration has kept them in the dark regarding the plan of relocating the market.

On Wednesday, they arrived at the corporate office with banners and filed a complaint with the municipal commissioner, citing the requests.“The Tarsali Vegetable Market Traders Association has over 170 larries registered, including fruit larries. The firm plans to relocate the present Tarsali vegetable market, and we demand that all necessary amenities be provided. Furthermore, the 2014 Street Vendor Policy will be imposed, and we will need everything in writing.” Bharat Rohit, one of the traders, stated.

Imran Vohra, another trader, stated that they want facilities at the new location and that no one is laid off. If the officials do not comply with our demands, we will protest.
