Tasty Vadapav

Tasty Vadapav is the taste which every Barodian once has tasted. Started in year 2005 by Bharat Agrawal as small ‘Laari’ on foot path of Nizampura. Bharat is basically from Rajasthan and is Marwadi by Cast.

Bharat was one of the 7 members of Agrawal Family. Family had one business, but it was not possible for all 7 members to join the same Business; so with the thought of doing different business bharat started ‘laari’ of vadapav at the footpath of Nizampura.

Nizampura is the area of tuitions where the crowd of young people is maximum. Pocket money of youngsters is always less but still after the tuition to chill out with friends they need to visit eat out places. At initial stage it was difficult to sell even 100 vadapav in whole day. Then gradually taste of ‘Tasty Vadapav’ started creating sensation on tongue of Barodians.

Business started growing ,so Bharat  shifted his business to rent shop but he felt that his ‘Laari’ is lucky for him so he didn’t sell it ,instead he started selling vadapav at shop keeping his counter on laari. Now the taste of TASTY started spreading in Vadodara and rush increased on his’LUCKY laari’ ,so he gave a shot and bought two shops in front of GHELANI Petrol pump which is situated at core location of Nizampura. and shifted his business and ‘Lucky Laari’

Journey of ‘TASTY VADA’ pav started from Footpath with no staff to two shops with staff of 10 people and with counter of selling more than 4000 vadapav daily and still growing.Now the scenario is that ,other Vadapav shops of vadodara are using name of them and selling their business, but in realty original ‘TASTY VADAPAV’ has no other branches.

Future plan of Bharat is to discover more types of Vadapav and to open up new branches in vadodara.
