In Dhobikuwa and Kajapur, the Horticulture Office holds farmer camps on horticultural organic farming.
The Deputy Horticulture Director Office in Vadodara presented data on natural farming practices and horticulture management in two villages, Dhobikuwa in Padra taluka and Kajapur in Vadodara taluka, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. A farmer training camp was held. Aside from that, farmers were educated through having display booths of various horticulture technology and crop protection gear at the training site, as well as direct demonstrations of the equipment on the farm.
Deputy Director Horticulture SG Patel supervised the organisation of this camp. In this camp Horticulture Officer Mr V.G. Padhiar, Mr R.M. Parmar, Mr J.G. Anjana Patel, Mr J.S. Rana along with Agriculture Specialist Mr SV Mahida, Horticulture Inspector Mr Urviben Maliwad as well as authorities of Khatiwadi Khatu, Atma Project and GGRC were prevalent and provided guidance to the farmers on the innovative methodology of farming and empowered the farmers to switch to natural farming. . This camp attracted a huge number of farmers. Organic farming has been brought to their attention.
