  • Food, Food, and more Food!
“Amdavadis don’t eat to live, they live to eat” quoted by Avanti S. K., a resident of Ahmedabad.
They never compromise on food, they love- khaman, dhokla, fafda, thepla, khakhra, pani puri. Amdavadis have certainly made them their own all-time need accompanied with achaar, chutney, and so on. But for a true Amdavadi, food is not just about these traditional dishes, they also love exploring food and dining out. From Khichu to Sonalben na Khakhra, Jail na Bhajiya to Jay Bhavani Vadapav, you won’t be able to resist the mouth-watering delicacies Ahmedabad has. There’s the New Lucky Restaurant where you’ll be seated among the graves situated between the tables, this is surely something you need to experience once. Coming to Manek Chowk, it is the perfect place you can visit when you’re having midnight hunger cravings. Be sure to try the unique chocolate cheese sandwich. Amdavadis are the delighted and welcoming people to be around. And when it comes to helping? Nobody can match them.
