Two women shoplifters caught on CCTV at Malabar Gold & Diamonds

Two women have been identified for shoplifting jewelry from Malabar Gold & Diamonds on Racecourse road in Vadodara. The CCTV camera shows the women shoplifting four gold bangles worth Rs 4.38 lakhs on Sunday morning.

The pair walked in the Malabar Gold and Diamonds showroom early in the morning on Sunday posing as customers shopping for jewelry. They asked an employee of the showroom to display a variety of bangles and took their time examining each piece.

It was during the closing time when the daily audit was going on when the staff realized that four expensive gold bangles worth Rs 4.38 lakhs were not in the inventory.

The manager of the store, Abhilash Balkrishnan, has registered a complaint of theft against the women.

The women are still absconding from the police. The showroom staff had asked them to fill a feedback form, but they gave the wrong contact number.
