Under 24 hours, two deaths in separate road accidents

In the last 24 hours, in two separate incidents, two deaths by road accidents have been registered in the jurisdiction of Varnama Police.
Dakshesh Chauhan, a resident of Ugmana Phalia in Navi Kawali village was heading towards the Varnama bus stop to drop his relative, and his father accompanied him on another vehicle. The father, Kanubhai, meanwhile slipped on the Chansad Road and received injuries on the head and face. He was taken to SSG Hospital in an ambulance, where he died during the treatment.

In another incident, a couple was for Por to visit Baliyadev Maharaj Temple by bike. Meanwhile, a speeding truck knocked them near Kalupur Bank and crushed the woman under the wheels. An Eeco driver, Jayanti Patel chased the truck. But the driver left the truck near Kapurai crossing and fled from the spot.

Varnama Police is further investigating both cases.
