The vaccination drive was initiated with Dia Rokadia daughter of Shri Keyur Rokadia, Mayor of Vadodara at GPS School, Atladara, Vadodara. Deputy Mayor Nandaben Joshi and Shreya Rokadia, wife of Keyur Rokadia were also present there.
The municipal health official informed that currently, the vaccine will be available at 79 centres in the city. They aim to vaccinate 96,000 children of the 15-18 age group in the next four days. Out of which they target to vaccine 20,000 children today. The children who are not attending school will be provided vaccines at Urban Health Centres in their area.
The target is to vaccinate 96,600 children in four days but the number of children vaccinated by their parents will only be known in the next few days stated Dr. Devesh Patel, Health Official of VMC.
