Vaccination training given to health teams

Preparations are in full swing in Vadodara for the Covid vaccination. As part of this, teams of staff from the education, revenue, and other allied departments along with health continued the intensive survey work for vaccination in the rural areas of the district even in their holidays.

About 30 officials of the health system were given technical and medical training to administer the vaccine in two days by the State-level training team. These people will give intensive training to the health workers who will be working in the field on how to vaccinate, take precautions, and store the vaccine. Thus, along with the survey, the district health system has prepared master trainers for vaccination.

Giving information about this, Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat said that the training was imparted under the State Institute of Health and Family Welfare under the leadership of Chief Vaccination Officer of the State, Additional Director of Family Welfare, and Additional Director of the above institute.

Additional Chief District Health Officer, Health Officers, Reproductive and Child Health Officer, Vaccine and Cold Chain Manager, Epidemic Control Health Officer, and some Taluka Health Officers were trained as master trainers by them. Thus, a top-to-bottom structure is being prepared in a planned manner for covid vaccination in the district.
