Vadodara BJP’s letter to State Home Minister regarding demands related to city Police

Vadodara BJP send a letter to Home minister Harsh Sanghavi regarding the demands they made during his visit to the city. They request the minister to act on them as soon as possible.

In their letter, they mentioned five important demands. City BJP demanded a new police station in Vadodara as the city is growing fast and there is a need of having new police stations.

Secondly, they demanded to develop the police ground for sports activities under the PPP model and ask the youth to join sports to make them stay away from drugs. They also demanded to charge minimum for such activities.

In view of rising cybercrime cases, they demanded to appoint a Cyber Crime Professional Expert on a contract basis.

A meeting of people’s representatives and important people of the party with policemen joining the duty will be held to know each other. In absence of this, the police department is not taking note of representations from Corporates and Sangathan and that leads to arguments.

Finally, the meeting of the committee of state-nominated members related to the Vadodara police department is to be held periodically. Normally the meeting is organized once a year but they requested to hold it every month.
