On Tuesday, District Collector R.B. Barad visited certain vaccination facilities and spoke with youngsters at Jai Ambe Vidyalaya and Vemali village. Parents and students are responding positively to the ongoing campaign to distribute corona vaccines to the youngsters of the Vadodara district.
In the morning, the collector arrived at the school and obtained information about the immunization, as well as interacting with the students who had come for vaccination. The Collector conveyed gratitude to the Health Department for the arrangements made here. In addition, he paid a visit to the village of Vemali.
According to Dr. Surendra Jain, the Chief District Health Officer, 17858 pupils were vaccinated on the first day of the campaign, against a target of 16,000 youths being vaccinated every day by the Vadodara district’s health system.
On Tuesday, vaccination sessions got held in pre-survey schools, with eight to ten sessions held per school. In every session, a minimum of 100 young individuals get vaccinated.
