Vadodara: Manjalpur Assembly Constituency’s Congress members protested in view of mosquito menace at Masiya Stormwater drain passing from Lalbaug. Vinod Shah who is the Vice President of Vadodara City Congress performed Shirshasan on the spot on Wednesday to effectively convey the message to the corporation to look into the problem. 
The Congress members shouted slogans against the corporation for not listening to their demands. With banners reading Yoga with mosquitoes, cover the Masiya stormwater drain etc. The members sent a clear message to address the issue at the earliest.
President Vadodara City Congress, Neela Shah said that due to non-cleaning of the stormwater drain, the area is full of mosquitoes and has put the nearby residents’ health in danger. The menace is also felt by the people visiting the nearby garden. The councillors represented the matter to the corporation many times in the past but the problem still persists and they demanded a quick resolution of the problem.
