The Vadodara crime branch arrested three fraudsters for promising fake government jobs to the unemployed youth.
The police arrested Rupesh Vinayak Purohit, Ritesh Girishkumar Rao, and Atul Rathod after a complaint was registered against them for promising the victim a government job at SBI. The victim was asked to pay Rupesh Purohit Rs 2,00,000 for a job at SBI bank. After this, he was shown a fake notarised call letter from SBI on WhatsApp, and asked to pay Rs 6,50,000 more and was given a fake ID card. A total sum of Rs 8,50,000 was given to the accused.
The police confiscated 3 SBI bank call letters, 3 fake ID cards and 2 mobile phones from them. The accused have been booked fraud and forging fake documents.
