Vadodara Gears Up for 17th Ayushman Bhava Campaign: Nationwide Launch by President Draupadi Murmu on September 13th

“Vadodara City and District Unite for a Healthier Tomorrow with Comprehensive Ayushman Bhava Campaign”

In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility and ensuring the well-being of its residents, Vadodara city and district are all set to embark on the 17th Ayushman Bhava Campaign. Scheduled to kick off on September 17th, this campaign aims to issue lifetime health cards to eligible beneficiaries, conduct comprehensive health check-ups, and promote awareness about government health schemes.

The nationwide launch of this transformative campaign is slated for September 13th, with President Draupadi Murmu at the helm. To ensure its seamless execution, district administration officials have engaged in crucial meetings with public representatives.

During a recent meeting chaired by MP Ranjan Bhatt, Collector  Atul Gor emphasized the campaign’s goal of extending health-related schemes to every eligible beneficiary under the Ayushman Bhava program. The strategy involves an extensive outreach effort, including door-to-door visits to connect with individuals. The Ayushman scheme, under this campaign, is set to transcend its saturation point, ultimately benefiting a larger population.

In addition to the campaign’s core initiatives, Health and Wellness Centers and Primary Health Centers will organize weekly health fairs. Patients identified during these fairs will receive referrals to specialist doctors at CHC (Community Health Centers) if required. Notably, medical professionals from the Civil Hospital and Medical College will actively participate in these health fairs at CHC.

The campaign will also feature ‘Gamgam Ayushyamaan Sabhas,’ designed to provide valuable information about government health schemes, Abha cards, disease awareness, vaccination, nutrition, and anemia. Alongside these informative sessions, cleanliness drives, organ donation awareness programs, and blood donation camps will be conducted, with the collected blood being allocated to government hospitals.

In attendance at the meeting were MLA Sarva Ketan Inamdar, Shailesh Mehta, Akshay Patel, Dharmendrasinh Vaghela, District Development Officer Mamta Hirpara, and health officials from both the city and district.

With the 17th Ayushman Bhava Campaign on the horizon and the support of dedicated officials and public representatives, Vadodara is poised to take a significant stride toward ensuring the health and well-being of its residents. This campaign aligns with the vision of accessible healthcare for all, making Vadodara a shining example of proactive healthcare outreach and community engagement.
