The number of coronavirus cases is on the rise again in Vadodara City and the administration is taking precautions to control the situation. On Monday, the health team of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) conducted checking at hotels, restaurants, ice-cream parlors, and snack laaris, to ensure strict adherence to the COVID 19 guideline.
The team collected samples and sent them for laboratory testing.
The health branch of VMC conducted random checking of hotels, restaurants, sweet shops, and tea snack lorries in the city to check the adherence to Covid 19 guidelines and took food samples under the ‘Eat Right Challenge’ program.
During the operation, a total of 180 samples were taken from 42 spots for lab testing. While 5 traders were issued notices regarding hygiene and one trader was issued notices regarding registration. Besides, 29 samples were also taken from ice cream parlors at the beginning of the summer season.
