Vadodara, Karelibaug: SHE Team assists aged man to reclaim alimony money from son 

In a humanitarian effort, Vadodara City Police assisted an elderly father in receiving alimony money from his son. The SHE Team of the Karelibaug police summoned the son to the station and, after counseling, helped him realize his father’s plight and transfer the remaining funds to his account. 

The old man, moved by the initiative, thanked the SHE Team for their assistance. The She team also advised him to call them immediately if he encountered any issues in the future.

The SHE Team, in particular, is proving to be a blessing in disguise for senior residents, assisting them in a variety of scenarios.

Kirtikant Patel, 73, resides on the ground floor of the Balaji Temple on Raopura GheeKanta Road. He went to the Karelibaug Police Station two days ago to file a complaint against his youngest son, who does not pay him alimony and gets agitated whenever he gets asked for money.

After gathering all the information, the SHE Team summoned his son Alkesh to the police station. They then advised him to avoid causing difficulties for his elderly father, and after recognizing his error, the son agreed to pay alimony. He also carefully deposited all of the pending money from the previous months and drove him home.
