Vadodara police arrests two men for assault and robbery

The officers of Prevention of Crime Branch arrested two men for assaulting and looting a man at Kashivishwanath temple near Lal Baug bridge in February.

The two accused, Sajidkhan Pathan and Abid Shaikh, were caught after the police were tipped off when patrolling near Navapura.

The accused were caught for committing a robbery on 5th February when they assaulted and looted a man near Kashivishwanath temple near Lal Baug bridge. The accused and a third person looted the victim of a mobile phone worth Rs 8000 and cash worth Rs 4000.
